Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

Blitzen ("Blitzen," the "Service," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by BlitzenBets LLC. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You may use the Service only on your own behalf, as an individual — not on behalf of any organization. These terms apply to every visitor and registered user, whether on a free or paid plan.

2. Eligibility and age

You must be at least the legal age to bet in your jurisdiction to use Blitzen. In most of the United States that means you must be 18 or older, and in many states 21 or older. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply to you, including whether sports betting and the use of betting-research tools are legal where you live.

By using the Service you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and that your use of Blitzen does not violate any law that applies to you. The Service is intended for users located in the United States.

3. What Blitzen is — and what it is not

Blitzen is a sports-betting research and analytics terminal for bettors who do their own work. It provides tools such as live per-book line-movement charts, odds comparison across roughly 40 sportsbooks, statistical models and predictions, backtesting against historical odds, and closing-line-value (CLV) tracking on the bets you choose to log.

Blitzen is not a sportsbook. We do not accept, hold, process, or facilitate wagers. We do not take bets, set odds you can bet into, or pay out winnings. We are an information and analytics service only. Any links to sportsbooks are provided for your convenience; placing a bet happens entirely off Blitzen, with a third party, under that third party's own terms.

4. No guarantees — informational only

Everything on Blitzen is provided for informational and research purposes only. Nothing on the Service is a guarantee of any outcome, and nothing we provide is financial, investment, or betting advice.

• Sports betting involves a real risk of loss. You can lose money, and you are solely responsible for any bets you decide to place.
• Past performance does not predict future results. Models, backtests, and historical figures describe the past and may not hold going forward.
• We do not sell "winning picks." We have not demonstrated a profitable edge — we sell transparent tools and data so you can do your own analysis and reach your own conclusions.

Any decision you make using the Service is your own. We are not responsible for losses you incur from betting or from relying on information found on Blitzen.

5. Your account and security

To use most features you need an account. Authentication is handled through Amazon Cognito. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly at support@blitzenbets.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from someone else using your credentials, whether or not you authorized it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to help anyone else:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Service, or otherwise access it through automated means or at a volume beyond ordinary personal use;
• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit our data, models, charts, or any other part of the Service without our written permission;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the Service, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
• Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, including through automated hammering, denial-of-service activity, or probing our security;
• Share, sell, or transfer your account, or use another person's account without permission;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any jurisdiction where it is prohibited.

We may impose reasonable rate limits and take technical measures to protect the Service, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

During our current beta, the Service is free — all features are available at no charge. We plan to introduce paid plans, currently expected to be Pro at $20/month and Quant at $80/month. Paid plans are coming soon; everything is free during the beta. Plans, pricing, and features may change before launch.

When paid plans go live, billing is handled by Stripe. We never store your full card number. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.

• You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal; your plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for.
• Except where required by law, fees already charged are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
• We may change our prices or plan structure on a going-forward basis; we will give notice of material changes before they affect your renewal.

8. Third-party data, services, and links

The Service relies on data and infrastructure from third parties, including The Odds API (odds), ESPN and nflverse (statistics), Amazon Web Services (hosting and compute), and Stripe (billing). Odds, lines, scores, and statistics may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and we do not control or guarantee third-party data.

The Service may contain links to sportsbooks and other third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for those sites, their content, or their terms. Following an external link is at your own risk and subject to that third party's policies.

9. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, models, design, text, charts, and the Blitzen name and branding — is owned by BlitzenBets LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own research, subject to these terms.

You own the bets and data you choose to log. By logging data you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you and to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We describe how we handle your data in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data, model output, prediction, or projection will be accurate, complete, timely, or profitable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlitzenBets LLC and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, gambling losses, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlitzenBets LLC and its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your bets or betting decisions, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. (Governing-law and venue terms are a placeholder and subject to review.) You and BlitzenBets LLC agree to resolve disputes in accordance with this section, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you rights that cannot be waived.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
